Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q.    Is the SAV a veterans organization?

        A.    No. It is a privately formed organization consisting of veterans, business people, civic     leaders and interested parties

 

Q.    Are my donations tax deductible?

        A.    Yes. SAV is a registered 501 c(19) organization and has been recognized by the IRS.

 

Q.    Can I make a pledge/donation and pay in installments?

        A.    Yes. SAV will work with you to set up a payment schedule

 

Q.    What happens to any profits?

        A.    Annual profits are turned over to the member veterans organizations, they will dispense the funds for community and veterans projects

 

Q.    Will the building be owned by the city or the county?

        A.    No. the building will be owned and run by the SAV. The purpose is for the community to use for various activities, both public and private. A portion of the building will be dedicated for youth programs.

 

Q.    How can I make a pledge or contribution, order a brick or donate services?

Q.    Is there a method of special recognition for patrons?

        A.    Yes. As you enter the building there will be a patrons wall of honor. A system of donation levels have been set up and your donation of $1000 or more will be recognized on the wall with an appropriate star signifying the donation level. All donations are accumulative until final construction of the honor wall has been completed
