Mission Statement
The SAV will support all veterans, families, the community, and
Shawano Country through veteran and community education and programming, these
services and facilities will be offered in a comprehensive way that promotes
collaboration, while still preserving the integrity of each unique group
belonging to the SAV.
Background
The SAV, Inc. is not a fraternal veterans organization, nor is it registered as a veterans organization. SAV, Inc. is actually an incorporated, registered non-profit enterprise with a participatory membership. Membership consists of representatives from five (5) local veterans organizations;
Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
Disabled American Veterans (DAV)
American Veterans (AmVets)
Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA)
and the
Veterans of the Menominee Nation
